Managing Director, Phil Gallagher’s Story…
Having worked for a national technical recruitment agency during the 90’s, I became disillusioned with the way in which the industry worked. High pressure sales targets were expected and getting a candidate to the job before the competition was more important than actually taking time and finding the right person.
I wanted to offer a more comprehensive service for both client and candidate and so in 2000, Engineering 365 Resourcing was born. The idea was for clients to see us as more than just a recruitment company. I wanted to work alongside their business, working closely with them to understand the clients’ business needs and match that against the candidates’ requirements.
In 2005, we made a seismic shift in the way we operate by offering all of our employees permanent contracts. We could do this because of the close ties we have with our clients who wanted high quality staff without the worry that they would leave for a “permanent” job.
This change gave greater stability to our employees and as a result we became less of a traditional recruitment agency and more of a resource partner to our clients.
We are proud of our employees and some have been with us for over 10 years now. We ensure communication with employees by regular site visits and email newsletters.
Every one of our employees is able to contact their dedicated manager or myself to ensure that they can talk to us 24/7, 365 days a year.
We have a small team with many years of recruitment experience who share my philosophy. Our business is about partnership and our growth is tied with that of our clients.
In 2015, we made the decision to enhance our service offering to include Permanent recruitment as well as expanding into other industry sectors. From the experience learnt in partnership with our clients, we believe we can apply that level of service and focus across any sector. Our vision is to be a specialist in your company rather than in a particular sector.
Thus, 365 Resourcing was born. We will always be honest to both the client and candidate. We see them both as integral to our business and whilst the client may pay for our service, without the right candidates in the first place we have no business.
